Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2, 2026
Frog Wallet ("we", "our", or "the Wallet") is a decentralized, non-custodial digital asset management tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
As a non-custodial wallet, we do not collect, store, or have access to:
- Private keys or mnemonic phrases
- Wallet passwords
- Asset balances or portfolio information
- Transaction history
- Personal identity information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
All sensitive data (private keys, mnemonics, passwords) is encrypted and stored exclusively on your local device. We have no ability to recover or access this data.
2. Information We May Collect
To improve product stability and user experience, we may collect the following non-personal information:
- Crash logs and diagnostics: Anonymous error reports that help us identify and fix bugs. These do not contain wallet addresses, balances, or any financial data.
- Basic device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version, used solely for compatibility improvements.
3. Blockchain Interactions
When you send transactions or query balances, the Wallet communicates with public blockchain RPC nodes. Please be aware that:
- Your wallet address and transaction data are broadcast to the public blockchain network. This is inherent to how blockchains work and is not controlled by us.
- Your IP address may be visible to the RPC node provider you connect to.
- When using the built-in DApp browser, third-party websites may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
4. Third-Party Services
The Wallet may interact with the following types of third-party services:
- RPC node providers: To broadcast transactions and query on-chain data.
- Token price APIs: To display approximate asset values.
- DApps accessed via the built-in browser: Subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All sensitive data is stored locally on your device, protected by system-level security (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and AES-256 encryption.
- We do not operate servers that store user data.
- Uninstalling the Wallet removes all locally stored data from your device.
6. Your Rights and Choices
- Data deletion: Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your data from the device. Ensure you have backed up your mnemonic phrase before uninstalling.
- RPC node selection: You can choose which RPC nodes to connect to, giving you control over which providers can see your requests.
- DApp permissions: You can manage which DApps have access to your wallet address.
7. Children's Privacy
The Wallet is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors. If you believe a minor is using this app, please contact us.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the app and on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Wallet after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
